Russia is one of the world's most exciting
developing markets, and as its economy continues to grow, more
and more international companies are looking to make the initial
contacts they need to enter the market effectively. RBCC trade
missions, whether sector-specific or regional, provide the best
start that your company can make in this complex region.
Making good contacts is as important in the UK as it is in
Russia. As a bilateral organisation, the RBCC also organises
regular trade missions to the UK for our Russian member
companies. These missions normally coincide with an RBCC London
seminar or networking event, and offer an ideal opportunity to
make contact with the Chamber's UK membership base.

events calendar page, or contact your
local RBCC office.

Market Scoping Missions
In addition to our regular trade mission programme, the RBCC
is regularly contracted to organise market-scoping missions
for individual companies, for which we will undertake market
research, and put together a bespoke programme of meetings
with potential trading partners. A mission of this kind
represents a very cost-effective way to make initial conact
with the people and companies you will need to work with
going forward, first time.
Recent examples of such projects include a scoping mission
for a clothing and consumer goods wholesaler. RBCC was able
to introduce them to some of the largest retail companies
operating in Moscow and St. Petersburg, including LENTA,
Technoshok, Detsky Mir, Karusel, and many others.
For a single management fee, the Chamber will research and
create a 4-day programme of individual meetings with the
people you should be talking to if you want to break into
the Russian market in any sector. If possible, we will also
ensure that your trip coincides with one of our Moscow or
St. Petersburg networking events, to add valuable new names
to your contact base.
The RBCC will also follow up on any contacts made during the
mission, and will give you a full report on what steps you
should take next.
For further details of how the RBCC can organise an individual mission for your company, please
contact the Commercial Manager in your local Chamber office.
