BDO Unicon North-West Holds Event on Role
of Financial Management in IPO Preparation
On 30 January 2008 BDO Unicon North-West together with the conference department of Vedomosty newspaper held a business lunch under the title, “The Role of Financial Management in Preparing a Company for IPO”.
Russian companies are becoming more active in entering capital markets to find new sources of financing both in Russia and abroad. When preparing a company for IPO, management faces a number of difficult issues that significantly influence the business operation.
During the event the top-managers of the largest Northwest Federal District companies planning to enter capital markets were directly informed by experts supporting the IPO process on what should be done to undertake a successful IPO.
The practical aspects of preparing a company for IPO were reported by the Senior Partner of BDO Unicon North-West Sergey Davydov, Senior Partner of BDO Unicon Andrey Balyakin, the Partners of BDO Unicon Alexander Verenkov, Vitaliy Sheremet and Elena Hromova.

BDO Unicon North-West Wins Competition
BDO Unicon North-West has won the 2007 Region Developing Business contest in the Culture and Art Development category. This contest is one of the most significant events in business life of the North-West region.
