Russia & UK Business Info

Accurate, up-to-date information is essential to running any successful business, especially in export markets. For almost a century the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce has provided a unique forum for information exchange between companies and professionals working in Russia and the UK.

RBCC members in all countries receive regular news updates through the Chamber's weekly email newsletter, the RBCC Observer, and monthly members magazine, the RBCC Bulletin, while our regular programmes of seminars, briefings, conferences and networking events also provide the ideal opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in Russo-British trade.

The economies of Russia and the UK differ widely in many respects: in 2006, the UK was the world's 5th largest economy in terms of GDP, with a steady growth rate of around 2% per annum. Russia currently ranks as the world's 10th largest economy, but its strong economic growth in recent years (according to the IMF, Russia's economy will grow by 6.4% in 2007), and increasing stability point to a bright future. Russia is universally seen as one of the world's most powerful and dynamic developing economies. Russia and the UK have traditionally been strong trading partners, and the current statistics show that this tradition is still very much alive, and growing ever stronger.

The RBCC also works closely with the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry in both Russia and the UK - to find your nearest regional Chamber, click on the Regional Contacts link to the left. In this section you will also find contact details of the Russian and UK Embassies and Consulates in both countries.
